Rossignol Snowboards squad member, Xavier de Le Rue took the Standout Performance of the Year Award on January 29th in Denver, Colorado. “Being awarded for this is the best honour I could receive and it makes me want to do only better in the future”, Xavier stated. “It feels great to get that recognition from the riders themselves. I’d like to give a big shout out to my sponsors and Standard films people who believed in me!” Xavier has had a couple of awe-inspiring seasons which led him to Back to Back Nissan Freeride World Tour world Champion, back to back overall (yes that means snowboard and ski) best line of the Nissan FWT presented by Swatch, Overall winner of Swatch O’neill Big Mountain Pro, but also videos from Standard Films in both Aesthetica and Black Winter and Relentless Lives of the Artist movie with the Greenland trip. Next year Xavier will be witnessed in various extremely anticipated videos: Deeper by TGR, next Standard Films video and Relentles production “Lives of the artists 2” with the Antarctica trip and he’s in the list of riders filming for the next Transworld video.
